Getting help for someone with PMDD
If you or someone you know is thinking of suicide right now, help can't wait
|
WHAT DO THEY NEED?
Are they struggling right now or in the past? Do they already have help but need more help? Are they suicidal right now? (If someone is suicidal, call one of the hotlines above or talk to an adult immediately.)
If you think your friend might be suicidal then don't be afraid to ask -- asking someone about suicide isn't putting an idea in their head, it's making sure that they're safe. You can also check out our page on warning signs of suicide.
TALKING TO AN ADULT

TALKING TO AN ADULT
- IDENTIFY an adult they know and trust
- DECIDE what to say and whether you are going to come with them
- SUPPORT if they ask you to come with them, be supportive. Unless they've asked you to help them explain, then let them do all the talking.
